Right when the first Amiibo were released in 2014, I knew they would likely become collectable.
The first batch released had excellent quality and attention to detail. After the Mario series released there was quite a stark drop in detail and I was worried they would start pumping them out like Skylanders
Fortunately, the less detailed Mario series was by design and not a major cost cutting decision and we now have a large group of excellent figures to collect.
Check out the list below for the most common prices for Nintendo Amiibo. Sometimes you can guess when one will be collectable just by the design. Squid sisters, Zelda, Link, and anything related to Botw are a good bet.Qbby price was a weird one though. It's not even an attractive character. I suspect that's one of the reasons for its low print run and high cost.
