Brandish SNES

In Brandish, a role-playing game similar to Breath of Fire and Brain Lord, you are Varik, a mighty swordsman falsely accused of murder. While being pursued by a vengeful sorceress, you fall into an underground world of scary monsters, mind-boggling mazes, and treacherous traps. Your job is to escape from this dark underworld and return to civilization. In trying to escape from the labyrinthian depths of this hellish place, you must use your swords and shields to ward off gargoyles, skeletons, minotaurs, ninjas, wizards, and 50 other types of creatures intent on your death. Along the way you can find, purchase, or sell more than 50 different items including fire magic, magic potion, steel balls, sledgehammers keys, and other things to aid you in your quest. A map is available for your perusal to help you navigate the 5 levels of play. At various points throughout the game, you can try to get helpful information by communicating with other characters. So you won't have to repeat earlier levels every time you turn on your Super Nintendo, you can save up to two games at any one time.

accused of murder, being pursued by a fearless bounty hunter looking to collect the
reward. About to be captured, you fall into a deep underworld maze filled with danger-
ous traps and deadly monsters including: giant crabs, headless fist pounding warriors
and fire spitting gargoyles. With the bounty hunter still hot on your trail, you must
navigate your way out of the mazes and back to the surface ASAP. Our only advice:
stay alert, well armed and always moving upwards!
