Beggar Prince Genesis

The snobby, selfish prince of Shatt Kingdom unknowingly aids a great threat to his world after he switches places with a beggar who looks just like him. Wanting only to escape the daily drudgery of his palace life, he has no idea what evil lies in wait around every corner. This careless brat of a boy is now the last chance for his kingdom to remain in peace, rather than be enveloped in chaos. Guide him on his way to learning the path of a true prince, and save his world from sinking into darkness.

Originally designed for release in Taiwan in 1996 by C&E, Inc., this Genesis/Mega-Drive game was later picked up by the Super Fighter Team for an english translation and slight redesign (including some bug fixes and minor graphic and story retouches.) The game's release includes a full box copy cartridge run, produced in December of 2005 (originally to be put out by OlderGames.com, but later self-published by Super Fighter Team.)

This RPG adventure follows an outcasted prince as he experiences his world for the first time, albeit as a penniless pauper. Shatt Kingdom's selfish, self-centered snob of a prince encounters a beggar after sneaking out of the palace without direct permission from the king. The two swap places, allowing the prince to experience the outside world. But unbeknownst to either of them, the scheming Cat Minister has decided to use this unexpected event for his own plans of gaining power...
