Additional Information

A post-apocalyptic desert wasteland serves as the backdrop for Mindscape's Outlander, which combines Mad Max-inspired vehicular combat with on-foot scavenging sequences. On the road, you'll encounter bikers, convicts, bosses, and more. Clear the road with your vehicle's machine guns, heat-seeking missiles, and nitro boosts, with the latter allowing you to ram enemies at high speeds. Resources are scarce, however, which means you'll have to periodically stop at towns to replenish your supplies. On foot, you can punch, jump, duck, and shoot enemies from a side-view perspective as you attempt to pick up ammo, food, oil, armor, and other items. Your ultimate goal is to retrieve a scientist named Dr. Beaumont, who has designed a water synthesizing device to change the world.
