Game Information

In Dukes of Hazzard II: Daisy Dukes it Out, it will take a player's racing prowess and lead foot to make it through the pitfalls and troubles of this dusty country county. Players will control either the Duke boys in their high-powered General Lee or Daisy in her jeep as they sweep through the dirt roads and downtown of Hazzard. Levels alternate between the two vehicles, and the objectives you must complete are varied as well. You might find yourself outrunning the law or perhaps showing someone the sights in Hazzard. You might even deliver some mail, but eventually you'll get down to some good, old-fashioned crime fighting.

Additional Information

Well, sir, things in Hazzard County just aren't goin' as smoothly as they should be. Sure, the Duke cousins, Luke and Bo that is, are just back from Capital City after winnin' another race, but some new folks have come into town; folks that aren't interested in the scenic back roads that Hazzard has to offer. No, they're more interested in pinnin' a dirty crime on Hazzard's own Daisy Duke, the sweetest flower in the south. It'll be up to Luke, Bo, and Daisy to avoid Enos, Rosco, and that troublemakin' Boss Hog while solving this crime and put those no good crooks behind bars. Thankfully, they have all the tools they'll need: Daisy's trusty jeep and, of course, the famous General Lee.

The physics of the game are decidedly arcade in their handling, focusing more on speed and hi-jinks rather than precision. The levels that you drive through offer ramps and a variety of short cuts through corn-fields and back roads. Players can also pick up several different items, like wrenches to fix their damaged vehicles or nitro gas to give them a short boost of speed. If the single-player missions become a drag, then there's a two-player mode that allows you to select several multiplayer game variants, such as tag.
