Sharpen your swords and prepare for an adventure full of treasures, monsters, and magic. Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land takes place in the Kingdom of Duhan, where a mysterious sphere of light kills thousands of residents. Demonic creatures from the underworld emerge, driving survivors beneath the castle. In the underground labyrinths, you must create party members from different races and classes and equip them with various items and weapons. If your party can overcome enemies, team members' clashing personalities, and the dreaded Reaper, you'll receive great treasure.

Duhan was a safe and pleasant kingdom, quietly thriving through years of peace and prosperity. This all changed instantly, the day the heavens fell open and hordes of demons spilled out into the pastoral land, killing thousands and completely destroying the beautiful city.
The queen of the land disappeared, rumored to have sought safety in the legendary labyrinths beneath the castle. Among the very last, brave survivors of Duhan's terrible destruction, it falls upon the player's characters to follow the queen's escape beneath the ground and to seek answers among the mysteries uncovered there.
