Cliffhanger NES

Based on the 1993 movie starring Sylvester Stallone, Cliffhanger has you stepping into the boots of Gabe Walker, a mountain rescue specialist who must use his skills to battle villains in the Rocky Mountains. Cliffhanger is a side-scrolling action game consisting of seven levels that involves a man named Eric Qualen forcing you and your friend Hal to locate three missing cases lost in a plane crash. The catch? These metal cases aren't filled with clothes and personal belongings -- they hold $100 million in cash! As Walker you'll be able to climb or descend steep cliffs, rope-climb over chasms, and use your hands and feet to pummel any thugs or creatures standing in your way. Walker can also use knives or guns taken from the enemy as well as replenish lost energy by finding campfires. After each level, Walker will have to confront a boss character until he reaches the final showdown with Qualen himself.
