Troy Aikman NFL Football Genesis

Inspired by and helped into production by Dallas Cowboys quarterback and heart throb Troy Aikman, Troy Aikman NFL Football takes you out of your role as armchair quarterback and places you right in the action as player and/or coach. As the coach, you call the plays and the computer executes them; as a player, you do it all. You can use the plays that are available, or you can customize plays of your own. All the NFL teams are featured here and you can play for or against any of them in preseason, the 193-194 season, or the 194-195 season. In the preseason mode, you can choose the home field of either team. In the season mode the playing surface (mud, grass, dirt, snow, rain, artificial turf) will be chosen based on the home team. An internal battery allows you to save your season in progress and your preseason and season career stats.

Each position on every team in this game has been rated on a scale of 1-5 by Troy Aikman himself, so you may want to study your team's strengths and weaknesses before beginning play. You can add to a position's strength by spending money for better players; you receive cash by winning games. Also, you can borrow money from one position and spend it on another.
