Continuing the commercially successful Skate or Die series, Electronic Arts released Skate or Die: Tour De Thrash for Nintendo's portable system, the Game Boy. In eight levels of play you skate (or shred if you prefer) on a series of ramps and half-pipes, trying to beat the clock and/or do tricks. You can skate alone or against members of the Santa Cruz skateboarding team. When skating against competition, you will need to bump your competitors out of the way. At certain times during the game, you must flatten spiders (that have wandered onto the skating area) with your board. The skating action takes place in a variety of exotic locations such as Atlantis, Easter Island, Chernobyl, and the Panama Canal. Throughout the game, three of your friends are on hand to offer encouragement, give information on tour locations, and provide passwords for saving your progress. Towards the end of the tour, if you score 10,000 points on the retro-rocket ramp, you can take off for some low-gravity thrashing on the Moon! Controls: Gamepad/Joystick
