Game Boy owners can continue their football fix with Madden 96. Pick a team and choose from three play modes: Exhibition, Playoff, or Season. Both offense and defense are played from an overhead view of a vertical field. In addition to calling audibles, a "stop clock" play, and a no-huddle offense, players can now elect to go for a two-point conversion instead of kicking the extra point. Like its predecessor, Madden 96 does not feature an NFL or NFLPA license for real teams or players, although each squad is designed to mirror its professional counterpart. Those owning a Super Game Boy adapter will be able to play a visually enhanced version of Madden 96 on their Super NES. | Features three play modes: exhibition, playoff, and season
