At a secret lab developing technology in interdimensional physics, some kind of accident has occurred. Suddenly all contact is lost with the facility and the power shut down. The dimensional fabric surrounding the facility seems weak and strange monsters have been sighted. Concerned, an unknown agency preps a cybernetic soldier and his weapons to investigate... Playing as the bionic soldier, this game is a top-down shooter. The player must blast their way through enemy forces and the activate various switches to progress. Accessing computer memory banks throughout the facility will reveal footage of the accident and give some idea of all it happened. Additionally, dimensional holes have opened up all around the levels allowing monsters to appear and making certain paths, walls and technologies inaccessible until the area has been stabilized.

Additional Information

Viewed from a three-quarter overhead perspective, Operation Logic Bomb puts players in the role of Agent Logan, whose job it is to infiltrate a labyrinthine lab, kill all the aliens in each level, and rescue scientists. Armed with single- and triple-shot laser guns, players can also find special weapons, such as an automatic tracking missile and a personal image duplicator, which creates a holographic decoy of your character. OLB is not as intense as Super Smash T.V. or Contra III: The Alien Wars, but it is an entertaining game of search and destroy. A small degree of intellect is added to the shooting action in that players must read maps, pick up clues, and repeat levels using weapons unavailable the first time through. Sound effects are pedestrian, but the music jams at a frenetic pace, complementing the intricately detailed and nicely rendered graphics.

Box Description

LOGIC BOMB
THE ULTIMATE SEARCH & DESTROY
The best scientists in the world have been working for years on the
Subspace Particle Transfer Project, a process that uses subspace
transporters to dematerialize an object, then instantly rematerializes it at
another location. Short distance transfers of individuals have also been
successful, and the scientists were about to begin long-range transport
experiments.
However, contact with the research laboratory has been lost. Someone -
or something - has taken over the facility and shut down all outside
communications. There is no information about the intruders or their
capabilities ... no one has entered the facility and returned to tell about it.
Plans for a final assault have been prepared and if it fails, there will be no
choice but to destroy the entire installation. Agent Logan, who has been
fitted with bioelectronic implants that ive him superior strength, reflexes,
and analytical abilities, has been brie ed on all aspects of the mission.
Now it's up to him to infiltrate the lab, neutralize the intruders, and rescue
the scientists.
