Lemmings SNES
Game Information
Lemmings is divided into a number of levels, grouped into four difficulty levels. Each level comprises both destructible landscape elements such as rocks, indestructible sections such as steel plates, and numerous obstacles including chasms, high walls, large drops, pools of water or lava, and booby traps. Each level also includes one or more entrance points and one or more exits. The goal is to guide a certain percentage of the green-haired, blue-shirted lemmings from the entrance to the exit by clearing or creating a safe passage through the landscape for the lemmings to use.

Box Description
lem•mings ('lem-ingz): adorable yet incredibly
stupid furry creatures, lost in a maze of
confusion. Known for walking off cliffs,
wandering aimlessly into dangerous passage-
ways and drowning by the thousands in small
pools of water. Without your help, they have
no chance for survival.
Thousands of LemmingsTM are on the loose, marching towards
extinction unless you can save them. Without minds of their own,
they are completely helpless, faithfully following their leader
through 125 levels of blazing fires, endless canyons, deadly
tunnels and ancient ruins.
One thing's for sure: their future lies in your hands, because
beyond every obstacle awaits certain disaster. Lose one Lemming
and you risk losing them all!
You or you and a friend can command the Lemmings to dig,
climb, tunnel, float and build their way to safety. But you have to be
fast, because with each moment you hesitate, more Lemmings
may drop from above!
SQ you better be good. The farther you get, the faster the
Lemmings hurtle towards their demise. One wrong move by you
could wipe out an entire species!
