| NBA Live 08 on PlayStation 2 adds an assortment of new features to the core graphics engine and play modes featured in NBA Live 07. One of the key components in the next-gen versions, "go-to moves," is included to help further distinguish star players from the typical NBA athlete. Kobe Bryant's spin and fadeaway, Tony Parker's hesitation and quick acceleration, and Dwayne Wade's step-back jumper are just some of the moves available. The inclusion of color-coded "hot spots" will help players quickly identify the most effective shooting areas on the court based on an athlete's real-life tendencies. Other key features include a more streamlined control scheme, improved rebounding logic, a new player fatigue system, and team-specific play styles.
