Launched by Bandai in 1987, this hectic game of energetic escapades utilizes the Family Fun Fitness mat, later re-released by Nintendo as the Power Pad, to translate player's real-life actions into in-game activities such as running and hurdling, although it also requires a standard game controller for navigating menu options. Players participate in exciting events and master Tournament and Olympics mode as they challenge increasingly difficult opponents to prove they are the fastest. Stadium Events is incredibly rare, as it was only available from limited stores for a brief period in 1987, making it highly desirable among retro gamers and collectors.
