Game Information

N64 - F 1 World Grand Prix II Box Art Front

F1 WGP 2 pretty much sports the same features as the first game. The game has 4 modes of play: the championship season mode, the exhibition race, time trials, and the challenge mode. R and Z are used to shift gears, the analog stick is used to steer the car, A is the accelerator and B is the brake. The C-buttons allow for camera changes and backmirror views. It's pretty much the same setup and how these work are pretty much unchanged from the first game to the second.

Additional Information

Now you have a chance to relive the 1998 Grand Prix season on your Nintendo 64 with F-1 WORLD GRAND PRIX II. Thanks to a full Formula 1 license, 11 teams and 21 cars are included in the game. In addition, all 16 tracks of the F-1 series have been faithfully recreated, including the recent renovations to the Canadian track. When you are ready for competition, you can take on the challenges of a Single Race or try to survive the grueling ups and downs of the full Season. Most of the races are pretty long, so you'll need to stop into the pits to change tires and re-fuel from time to time. Between races you can fine-tune your vehicle, making sure you've got your ride optimized for each particular track. There is also a challenge mode that you create some of the more exciting moments from the real 1998 Formula 1 season. Now you can get behind the wheel of some of the most powerful racecars in the world with F-1 WORLD GRAND PRIX II.
